Christina A. Riedel

Christina A. Riedel, 53, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:04 a.m., on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her residence.

Christina was born November 11, 1967 in Tiffin, to Eldon L. and Dorthyann (Hartley) Hossler. She married Timothy A. Riedel on December 9, 1989 in Tiffin.

Survivors include her mother, Dorthy Hossler of Tiffin, husband, Timothy Riedel of Tiffin, two sons, Joshua A. (Rachel M.) Riedel of Sycamore, Zachariah W-L (Kayla) Riedel of Tiffin, four grandchildren, Everly and Bearett Riedel and Beckham and Coleson Riedel and a brother, Brad E. (Jennifer) Hossler of Tiffin.

Christina was preceded in death by her father, Eldon L. Hossler.

Christina worked as a Children's Librarian at Mohawk Community Library. She was a member of the Wildwood Chapel in Upper Sandusky, Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, Mohawk Service Club formerly the "Lioness" and involved with multiple home schooling groups. Christina was a 1986 graduate of Mohawk High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Tiffin University. Christina enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Funeral services for Christina will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 9:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time.
