Darlene E. “Vogel” Harmon 75, of Republic, and former Bloomville resident, passed away Thursday evening June 3, 2021, at the home of her daughter, in Republic.
She was born November 22, 1945 in Tiffin, to Delbert and Dorothy (Burks) Vogel.
Darlene is survived by a daughter, Sandy “ Vogel” ( Lloyd Belcher) Harvey of Republic, a son-in-law, Benjamin Reinhart of Bloomville, five grandchildren, Cheyenne and Brieanna Belcher of Republic, Logan (McKennah) Reinhart, Luke and Lance Reinhart, of Bloomville and one great-grandchild, Hadley Reinhart of Bloomville, a brother, Donald (Barbara) Vogel of Bloomville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Maryann Reinhart, two brothers, Charles and James Vogel, and a sister, Barbara Vogel, and a great-granddaughter, Emersyn Reinhart.
Darlene was a 1965 graduate of Bloomville High School. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her grandchildren, and also enjoyed going to the fairs and showing cattle with her nephew. She worked as a farmer on the family farm, and as a waitress at Ben Franklin Restaurant and the corner Truck stop in Bloomville.
It was Darlene’s request that there will be no services, or burial at this time. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
