Imogene E. Willman

Imogene E. Willman, 84, of Republic, passed away at 7:25 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Imogene was born March 12, 1938, in Bellevue, to the late Vincent and Edna (Zimmerman) Wise. She married John Clarence Willman on January 2, 1960 and he preceded her in death on March 26, 2022.

Survivors include her daughter, Bridget Willman of Tiffin, two sons, Theodore (Michele) Willman and Vincent (Stacey) Willman both of Republic, three grandsons, Lauren, James, Edward, two step grandchildren, Lindsay and Jacob Dowler, two sisters, Marcia Kreinbrink of Tiro and Carol Wurtz of Attica.

Imogene worked at General Electric in Bellevue and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin. She was a RCIA/CCD Teacher, 4-H advisor, a volunteer with Patchwork House, Eucharistic minister and a Seneca East PTO member. She was always there to help any one who need it as with getting the neighborhood children on the bus and was the best grandma any kid could ever have. Imogene was a 1956 graduate of Bellevue High School.

Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Janet Suleski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to the mass at church. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 4-7 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seneca East FFA or to the Calvert Foundation.
