James O. Crum, 90, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:26 p.m., on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
James was born in Seneca County on May 19, 1930, to the late Paul and Kathryn (Hall) Crum. He married Nell L. Lemons-Crum in Tiffin on January 16, 1999 and she preceded him in death on July 25, 2020.
Other survivors are his daughter, Sue Harbour of Sebastian, FL, two step-children, Mike (Doreen) Lemons Sr. of Tiffin, Keith Lemons of Fostoria, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, a brother, Dick (Audrey) Crum of Florida, a sister, Betty (Glenn) Quickle of Tiffin and a brother-in-law, Ralph Harding of Tiffin.
James was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nell L. Lemons-Crum, a step-daughter-in-law, Sandy Maxine Lemons and a sister, Alice Harding.
James graduated from Melmore High School. He attended The Ohio State University for two years and later finished his Engineering Degree at GMI. He worked for General Motors in the Tool & Die Department and retired after 34 years. James was a United States Army Veteran serving during Korea. He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and a 50 year Mason and a member of the Findlay Lodge #0227.
A graveside service for James will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Fairmont cemetery with the Rev. Marilyn Coney officiating. Military rites will be rendered by the United Veterans Council. There will be a private family visitation held for the family. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
