Marcia Irene Liggett

Marcia Irene (Cahill) Liggett, 70, of Tiffin, passed away at 6:17 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence surround by her family.

Marcia was born October 27, 1950, in Tiffin, to the late Charles and Marjorie (Weaver) Cahill. She married Marcus Liggett on November 1, 1969 and he survives in Tiffin.

Survivors include her children, Dawn (John) Harvey of Panama City, FL, Andrew (Dawn) Liggett of North Baltimore, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, three brothers, Kenneth (Chris) Cahill of Tiffin, Daniel (Cheryl) Cahill of Canton, Donald (Julie) Cahill of Tiffin and a sister, Kathleen (Tom) Courtney of Tiffin.

Marcia worked at General Electric, RCA Harris, Honeywell and also at the Bettsville School and Library. Marcia was a lifelong Democrat, Poll Precinct Worker, enjoyed coaching the Bettsville Bobcats, playing golf, making video's, camping, traveling, ceramics and playing bingo. Marcia was an avid New York Yankee's fan and a 1969 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and later went on to graduate from Terra State in Fremont as well.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Mathew Gene Liggett and Baby Boy Liggett and a brother, Carl Cahill.

Graveside services for Marcia will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Greenlawn cemetery in Tiffin. There will be no visitation held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
