Nancy Bowers

Nancy Bowers, 83, of Tiffin, passed away at 12:51 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Nancy was born Republic, on August 25, 1939 to the late Ray and Lela (McConnell) Neikirk. She married Frederick Bowers in Republic on May 13, 1977 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2019.

Survivors include her five daughters, Tracy Hoover of TX, Terry (Wayne) Butler of Republic, Claudia Hoover of Tiffin, Donna (Gilbert) Adams of Tiffin, Lela (James Scott Barger) Schreiner of Fostoria, four step-children, Jeff (Gail) Bowers of Tiffin, Craig (Michelle) Bowers of Colorado Springs, CO, Steve Bowers of Fayetteville, NC, Traci (Steve) Kinsey of Colorado Springs, CO, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, a sister, Ruth Ann Carnahan of Tiffin and her beloved dog, "Danny".

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters, Doris Hoerig, Laura Powell and Sandra Bowerman.

Nancy worked at Tiffin Center and Tiffin Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the Republic United Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville with Pastor Roxie Roush officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 3-6 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at Block cemetery in Republic.
