Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy, 75, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:30 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2021 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Patrick was born July 20, 1946, in Tiffin, to the late Robert and Vernice (Martin) Murphy. He married Candace L. (Hamilton) in Tiffin on December 10, 1966 and she preceded him in death on September 2, 2021.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Danielle) Murphy of Columbus, a daughter, Tami (Richard) Burke of Tiffin, four grandchildren, McKinnon and Colin Murphy, Megan (Chance) Brickner and Olivia Burke (Daniel Bartley) along with two great-grandsons, Cordel and Conway Brickner, two sisters, Kathy Burgderfer of Tiffin and Jackie Jacoby of Melmore, four brothers, Tim, Fred, Ned Murphy all of Tiffin and Ted Murphy of Florida.

Patrick worked at Hayes-Albion, was the owner/operator of Pat's Place in Green Springs and later retired from, Sanoh America Inc. Patrick enjoyed playing pool, traveling with his wife, Candace.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Michael Murphy.

There will be a private Celebration of Patrick's Life held at a later date. There will be no formal burial or visitation held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice.
