Paul Edward Bridgford peacefully went home to be with The Lord on January 13, 2022. For those of you that knew Paul this was his greatest desire. He loved The Lord and shared His abundant grace with everyone he could.
Paul was born January 16, 1940, to Ivan and Arvilla Bridgford in Sycamore. After graduating High School, Paul served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1962. Upon coming home he soon met the love of his life, Sandra Shellhammer. He informed her very early on he was going to marry her and he did just that on July 16, 1966.
Paul and Sandra were blessed with three children, Shelley (Tom) Smith, Steve (Renee) Bridgford and Stephanie (Tom Rickard) Bridgford. The blessings further continued with grandchildren, Bryan (Miranda) Stacklin, Kristin Watson, Megan Watson, Emmeline Hiler, Ally Bridgford and Turner Bridgford, then great-grandchildren, Ivan, Penelope, Ellison, Ocean and Theodore.
Paul always an avid learner attended Tiffin University and Terra Tech. He retired as an electrician from Armstrong Air in 2005. He loved The Word of God, golf, spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services for Paul will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Attica-Venice cemetery with military rites being rendered by the Attica American Legion Post 260.
