Peggy loved her home on the farm. She took great pleasure from the view she had from the back windows. She loved dancing with Marv, whether it was square dancing, waltzing,or doing the fox trot. Dancing always seemed to put a smile on both their faces. Peg was left-handed and enjoyed golfing and bowling that way. Because of this Marv gave her the nickname "Lefty". Peggy loved playing cards, and even into her 90’s was a master of King's Corners. Her frosted buttermilk cookies were always a family favorite, but her homemade ice creams, cherry pies, applesauce and homemade wines (Tuity Fruity) were a definite close second. Peggy would work on word searches and loved watching western/cowboy shows while sitting in her room, especially the ones with John Wayne. As she grew older she also enjoyed going on car rides with her daughter, Patsy. She loved to look out the passenger window with her beautiful blue eyes, taking in all the scenery while enjoying her favorite hot fudge sundae.
We know Peg is up in heaven with no more pain, dancing with Marv and visiting with her siblings and friends. She was deeply loved and will be missed. Until we see her again... "See You Later Alligator”. And as Peg would respond "Okay Crocodile."
Private family services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
