Susan M. Detterman, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday January 14, 2021, at the Willows at Tiffin, after an illness of one month.
She was born August 16, 1954 in Willard, to Richard and Mabel (Ruth) Detterman. Susan was never married.
Susan is survived by her mother, Mabel Detterman of Bucyrus, a brother, Chris Detterman of Bucyrus, three sisters, Peggy George of Bloomville, Inez (Shelby) Rakauskas of Mt. Eagle, TN. and Marlene (Bernard) Crammer of Marion, a special friend, Sara Kiser of Tiffin, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard, a brother-in-law, Steve George, and a special friend, Floyd Forwalter.
Susan was a 1973 graduate of Seneca East High School. She was a member of the Little Faith Ministries in Tiffin, and she was baptized in 2014, and she enjoyed doing latch-hook rugs, and doing working crossword puzzles.
She worked as a customer clerk and bagger for many years at Tiffin Kroger, before retiring in August of 2019.
A walk through visitation for family and friends will be Monday, January 18, 2021, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00p.m.,. at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19 Bloomville. Visitors are asked to please wear masks and social distance as they pay their respect, and during the funeral services.
Services will be Monday, January 18, 2021, at 1:00 pm., at the funeral home, with Pastor Stephanie Little officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Seneca County School of Opportunity, or to Little Faith Ministries.
